Questions & Answers

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by the 5th of February so we can have an accurate headcount.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the reception. They are more than welcome to join for the ceremony, but after after 3.30pm it's all about the grownups.

However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at the Friday welcome reception and Sunday brunch! Please reach out if you have questions!

Can I bring a date?

Please check your invite for your +1!

What will the weather be like?

The 3rd of May should be fairly warm during the day, getting cool into the night.

Hopefully it won't rain and be too windy though.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors.

The reception will also be outdoors, weather permitting, on a large deck with an indoor bar.

Where should I park?

There is plenty of free parking at the venue. Enter from Angle Rd.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We would love for you to take photos at the reception.

There will be an upload location available if you would like to share your photos with us, and we hope you will.

However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Our photographer will be taking photos, and they'll look better if we can see your face and not your phone.

Will I get a chance to take professional photos with the couple?

Yes! Directly after the ceremony we will be taking photos with everyone before heading off with the bridal party for more photos.

What should I wear?

Dress up real good, in your best. But no one's taking notes.

Since the reception is outdoors, you may want to put a jacket on when it gets cooler into the night.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. The area between the ceremony and the reception is grassy, so we recommend block heels or sandals. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.

Whom should I call with questions?

In the lead up to the big day just contact Katie or Josh.

On the day, please call either Emma Bown, the maid of honour, or contact Tristan Clarke-Nash, the Best Man.

Is there a gifts registry?

There is no gift registry. We really really do not expect any gifts.

If you would like to get us a gift anyway, we trust you (and there's a wishing well).

What should/could I do between the ceremony and the reception?

The bar will be open (but not the tab just yet), so head up to the deck for a drink and canapés.

The tab will start once the bridal party enter the reception.

Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotels?

Since we'll be so close to town, there will be taxis available at the end of the event. The staff at the venue will be able to help arrange one if you need.
